[solved] Titanium backup stuck at asking root permissions

I noticed this in 1.01 n now .02 thought it was my titanium backup so just re-downloaded from market from same result. This is the bug I'm seeing:

    1) after flashing the Rom, I can use titanium to restore missing apps and market doctor to restore market links.

    2) titanium continues to work (ie can look at apps and restore things back stuff up etc)

    3) after a while titanium gets stuck at the initial startup screen "asking for root rights" and won't go past it. I can access titanium preferences but nothing else.

    4) I cleared data for both super user and titanium but no success.

Has anyone else experienced this or no of a fix?

Re: Titanium backup stuck at "asking 4 root permission"

You could make a backup and uninstall superuser then reinstall it from the market. This happened to me before and this fixed it for me.

    Re: Titanium backup stuck at

Had the same issue just now, rebooted to recovery and wiped caches and it worked fine.

Also did what cmonster suggested when I flashed 1.01 and it worked as well.

That was strange. It seemed to be a mass problem. I was installing fine earlier then I was getting everything setup for work tomorrow, getting some apps installed, and I couldn't install my paid apps from the market. I just rebooted and it started installing like it should.

    Re: Titanium backup stuck at

Uninstalling superuser via root explorer and uninstalled titanium via market and once I reinstalled super user and titanium everything is working fine again.

    Thanks!

Happy you got it working. I had the same issue a couple of times and a reboot fixed it for me once, however the second time reboot alone didn't fix had to wipe caches. So who knows.

Re: Titanium backup stuck at "asking 4 root permission"

Those that are using my theme should user a root explorer and delete the vending.apk in data/app directory because mine installs it as a system app and it could be confusing the rom.
