Both RUUs are in my tutorial. Either works. If doing s-off want to take the patched hboot that comes with Control Bear software. It will work with either RUU. There is also a patched hboot available for the global that enables more fastboot commands.

So will flashing the clean rom bring me back to close to stock? Enough where i dont have to relock and reflash recovery and all that nonsense. And after flashing clean rom can i just start the s-off procedure?

Depends what firmware you are on now. If still on GB software will have to do everything twice if you decide to upgrade to ICS.. If on ICS yes you can but if you want to upgrade to 3.14.605.12 or Global will have to flash all that anyway. I can start from scratch and flash RUU, rom, s-off, recovery and hboot in less than an hour.

It should. Worked on Global for me. There are several busybox apps. Try again or a different one.

So when I tried to install clean Rom dev version, it just stays on clean Rom boot up. I tried to flash the boot IMG and restart and same thing. Am I supposed to change the boot.IMG to ph98img? That's what I did and still stuck.

Boot.img if pulled from rom must be flashed via fastboot or put into a zip format. If have another flashable kernel zip can swap out the boot.img with 7-zip.

This one may work. Just delete all in name except PH98IMG and flash in hboot.

Or this one. No need to rename. Flash in recovery.
