Cant SMS certain people on MikG 3.11

It won't send a text message to certain contacts. Acts like it is but doesn't. Just saves message as draft. It shows the number of characters i type and when i send, that number goes to zero but the message doesn't send. Any ideas?

This happened once before and the only thing I could do is reflash, anyone ever come across this before? I can text everyone but two female friends of mine...

I am using the updated gradiant mms. Been working fine for months, the only other time this happened I was using the stock mms included with MikG. I have erased all message threads, tried linking and unlinking contact, even tried deleting them and manually inputting the number. I also pushed the mms apk to system/app, I did a clear data and force close, also tried restarting the device.

Any help is always appreciated

Had a similar issue a few weeks back. Couldn't send or receive messages from one person. Ended up calling Sprint. The guy walked me through resting my Data. I wrote it down, just in case I would ever need it again. After the phone rebooted, it was all good.

It might. I mean it did for me, but that does not guarantee anything. I'll post up the steps he gave me below. Just do me a favor and let me know if it sorts out the issue for you . Now keep in mind I'm not guaranteeing anything.

To Reset Data :

1. Open up the Dialer

2. Dial ## your 6 Digit MSL # ( no spaces ) EXAMPLE: ##000000#

3. Pop-up comes up, Choose EDIT



4. Will bring you to this page



5. Press MDN first. Long press on the number in the Box. Select ALL. Copy. Delete the Number there. The Long Press, and Paste. Press Ok.
DO NOT LOOSE YOUR NUMBER YOU NEED IT - WRITE IT DOWN IF NECESSARY



6. Press MSID. Long press on the number in the Box. Select ALL. Copy. Delete the Number there. The Long Press, and Paste. Press Ok.
DO NOT LOOSE YOUR NUMBER YOU NEED IT - WRITE IT DOWN IF NECESSARY



7. Menu - Commit Modifications



8. It should Reboot. Or ask you if you want to Reboot. Either way you need to Reboot. Then it will Reset Data when it Reboots. You have to give it a minute when it firsts Reboots to do what it's doing. So I'd just leave the Device alone for about for about 5min.


BTW THE NUMBERS IN THE PICS ARE NOT REAL

Same fake numbers I always use when there has to be a number for an example . Thanks for having my back though .
