Hey everyone,
Been running XXX for several months now. Really like it, but it seems to be becoming less and less stable as time goes on. Just noticed that Newt threw out an update, so I'm ready to give it a go.
I've done quite a bit of rooting and ROMing on Samsung devices, but this HTC was difficult for me the first time as the directions I had found were a bit confusing. I obviously made it through with some help from the forums here (Thanks!)
I see there are several new downloads, the 4.0 ROM, a 3.2.1 patch and 2 different boot.img files.
The question is, what's the best way for me to upgrade?
Should I do a clean wipe and start over with 4.0, or is it fine to flash the patch. Would I just flash the patch from recovery on top of 3.2.1?
I am assuming either way I'll have to flash a new boot.img, but which one?
Any good links to a set of clear instructions for flashing this phone would be appreciated as well.
Thanks
Paul
