TouchScreen not working...

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I've wiped the phone of all my data, and yes, I reflashed my ROM and still no luck.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. Yes, I hear the crunching noise. I've dropped it down my driveway, facedown, while it was raining (twice). I don't think I've actually dropped it in a body of water, though.
As for the Touchscreen firmware, I am running the latest firmware.
Also, my earpiece died, Softkeys work as often as the screen does, and the notification/charging LED has died.

Wow :eek: . Ok so my bet is everything you have going on is hardware related. The " Crunching " noise is the Main Flex cable. The LED, and the Earpiece are on a different Flex Cable. Both can be replaced fairly easily. The question now is do you want to take it in to Sprint, or try and do the repair yourself ? Do you have TEP ? If you decide to take it in to Sprint it would be better to Un-Root it. DO NOT DO THIS BY TAKING THE LATEST OTA !!! If you do and they repair that particular device you are done. The latest OTA CANNOT BE ROOTED YET .

Once it comes back from the tecs it will be on the newest ota anyways so might wanna try to repair in home or stress to them 2.2 is the operating system of choice

I would personally make a point of making sure they know that you do not want the device updated. If they give you any Biz ( which they shouldn't ) just tell them it's your device your choice. Because the Flex Cable has nothing to do with the OS. So they do not have to mess with it.

My Shift has been retired.
My budget allowed me to get the Galaxy SII running Android 4.0.4 ICS.
While I'm sad to leave the HTC kingdom, I am also loving this phone.

My Shift is doing great. Running Supreme Sense vXIII on it right now. Smooth as butter, and Brutally fast.
The EVO is running Mik v3.11 with a bunch of Mods. Smooth, and Fast. Also running great.
