3.11 keeps getting corrupted- causing boot loops- why ?

ANy ideas ? every week or so, my phone will start boot looping and I have to wipe and start over again. When flashing the rom, I am following the wipe procedures correctly (2. WIPE EVERYTHING I wipe in this order: CACHE-DALVIC-BOOT-SYSTEM-SDCARD:.android_secure
DATA-SDCARD:EXT, Then I wipe ALL userdata/factory reset, I do all of these twice, some do it only once some as much as 3Xs WIPE EVERYTHING EXCEPT SDCARD).

Could it be my kernel ? I so, which kernel should I be running with 3.11 ? What else could be causing this ?

What kernel you using? Could be. But it sounds like it might be your sd card is going bad. Are you running a2sd? When was last time you formatted it?

This is the closest post to what I'm trying to figure out so hopefully its ok.
Very similar issue, to start the other day I dropped my phone battery and back came off, just switched batteries and had my otterbox off went to smoke a cigarette and was playing Aralon not paying attention hand hit door and bamm!! dropped it and everything came out. Went into a boot loop that wouldnt stop. I took the battery out let it sit while I did some research, put it back in still same so decided to reflash everything. I wiped everything in the correct order CACHE-DALVIC-BOOT-SYSTEM-SDCARD:.android_secure
DATA-SDCARD:EXT, Then I wipe ALL userdata/factory reset, Wipe all 3x. reflashed mikg3.11, let it sit over night b/c i fell asleep, reflashed anthrax zzzTESTzzz009. Then flashed Theme-Warm-Ice-Cream-Sandwich-MikG-3-11-Version-1-7-Update-5-9-2012-Pneuma. Worked great used it all day sunday all day monday, all day today until omw home from work I tried to download ooVOoo video chat and the second i hit install it went into a never ending bootloop again. got home tried rewiping/flashing mik/anthrax again couldnt get to the kernel flash part b/c it was in constant bootloop still/again.

So decided to rewipe again and went back to the only other thing i had on SD card which was 4.67stock and it has been working great for the past few hours. Sucks going back to stock but it is working. Hoping for a fix so i can go back before i put all my info back in.

Could it be a corrupted mikg3.11 file? bad SD?(not sure about this)

What I would suggest is to start over from square one. Re-download the ROM, over WiFi or hardline. Backup the SD Card to your PC / Laptop. Reformat the SD Card. I like to use a program called SD Card formatter. Wipe and Flash the ROM according to the Guide for Flashing. Then just use it as is for a few days. Meaning no flashing Kernels, or Themes. Only loading the Apps you need. One at a time. No Batch loading of Apps, or restoring Apps. That way you have a good judge of what's going on.

Not sure if this is on par, but I had random bootloop issues before too, also with MikG3.11. What my problem was is that I was using dt a2sd (stock SD card) and somehow a few of my apps went to .androidsecure using the native a2sd which I think was introduced in Froyo. Once I put all my apps on the partition instead the bootloops stopped right away.

Well I wiped everything. I wiped my phone down to nothing. Formatted my SD card using the sdformatter recommended above. Tried to reflash mik3.11. And still bootlooping.downloaded a fresh mik3.11 file from a post nick had.. I couldnt download the original mik post for some reason the link wasn't working. Anyway still bootlooping. Had to revert to 4.67 then updated to the newest through Sprint and its working fine. Not sure what to do next or even have a clue why its not working but stock is. I'm going to read through nays post and see if anything jumps out at me but, not looking promising at the moment. Thanks for everyone's input. And new thoughts are appreciated.

Just out of curiousity, when you are on the stock Rom, is your SD card reading normally? This kinda reminds me of a case of bootloops where the SD reader in the phone started to get crappy.
