    problem with proximity sensor?

ok so i cant get a screenshot of whats going on or i would. no matter what rom im on, im having a problem with the sensitivity on the very topt of the screen where the drop down menu is. it seems to think i'm always pressing on it rendering any other touch funcions useless. if i re lock the screen with the power button it goes away temporarily. is this a hardware failure?

Ok so its the digitizer. It's definitely malfunctioning. Took it to sprint repair center and they didn't have parts to work with so they ordered me a replacement phone. All because I pay extra for the premium insurance. Better than a 100 dollar deductible

Now I have :tounge: thanks and thanked. I'll look at the threads closer when I get the time. (New gf and such) it has a bunch of disclaimers that look scary lol. I'll read thoroughly before I possibly brick my brand new phone lol

Lol, you can do it! But I don't blame you if you want to wait. Good luck either way.

I would wait until it's a more secured Downgrade/ AutoBrick/ Unbrick Program. It's pretty beta still, but has worked
