    Blank SD card

    Hi guys,

    On my wife's HTC Shift running Mik rom had this notification today. She's afraid of losing music and photos. What I've found the solution is to format the card.

    Any ideas?

    Have you tried to unmount and pull it out? The card that is.

    Yes I did in recovery, Nick. It said no sdcard mounted.

    Hmm...that sucks. Umm there are some free programs online that will help with data recovery. You might try a couple to see if you can get stuff off. I would suggest unmounting it and putting it in card reader and sticking it in pc. Good luck man and keep us posted.

    You first problem is you are posting from an iSuck.

    I would say take it out of the phone and try it with a card reader of some sort.

    Can you see the files on the SD Card on your PC ? Which Recovery are you using CWM , or TWRP ? If your using CWM Recovery look for a file on the Root of your SD Card called " nomedia " . If you see that file delete it, and the reboot. BTW.... Ipad

    Guys,

    Gracias! Using CW recovery. The only folder it had Lost.dir. Everything else blank. So I will be formatting the card, flash the rom and install everything again.

    The iPad, I am a part time musician so I use it mainly because the music apps, since 2 yrs ago. Sorry about that. Just enjoying the best of two worlds.
