Okay, is the kernel somewhere around here ? And I can just flash without having to reflash the ROM then the kernel?

If you search anthrax kernel on the site you will find it. There is also underworld kernel and a couple others.

+1. I found that Wired Tether only worked with 4G on most other kernels besides AnthraX. With AnthraX it even works with 3g. I haven't tried the other kernels though. Also, I'm not sure why it's finding a printer, unless that's your PC name? Originally Posted by nick1313

not sure how to open the old thread, just want to let those know who helped that I did get the usb tether to finally work on the stock kernel, but tried the WiFi today and it shows upload great but computer connected says no internet, I've been using the hotspot app that comes on it and that works fine, just hope I'm not being charged lol

but definitely thought the app 'wireless tether' was supposed to work as well?

ahhh awesome. I'm on mikeroms newest one, with the stock kernel, I'm the one had trouble with the usb tether, i believe it was you that got me to flash anthrax cause that's what you had to do, got the usb to work, but the WiFi tether program won't work for some reason

I got the usb tether to work, now my.mission is to have the wifi work as well, i downloaded the suggested program above, WiFi tether, and it shows upload speed but nothing coming from download and the comp says no internet connection under that network when I do it wirelessly
