Yep, thats what I said on this page, here it is:

after unlocking 2.18 HBOOT with S-OFF I ended up with:

    rooted with mikg rom
    HBOOT-2.10.0001
    Radio 2.15.00.11.19

    1. How do I (if possible) upgrade to latest upgrades keeping root?
    2. How do I put back to Spring-Stock?
(I guess once I put back to stock I would be able to upgrade to latest Stock-OTA)
    ....................
The phone above has screen cracked and I basically want to be able to root and unroot my phones and I want to do it to my own phone to make sure that I can, and trying to make a video also.

    1. Flash a rom with the upgrades. Don't ever unroot to get latest OTA, lots of bad things can happen. The latest OTA for sprint was pointless, all it provided, for us, was radios and kernel..all of which can be flash seperately.
    2. To be honest I'm not sure on unrooting however check out this guide here it might have some answers for you.

You probably wouldn't need to unroot to replace a cracked screen. Search around you should be able to find some information on that.

Hi. I'm having issues right after I flashed Superuser 3.07. I go type adb shell in cmd, and it works. It's "su" that i'm getting an error. I downloaded the root checker app via android market, but it says that I'm not properly rooted. In other words: Adb shell -> su:
    "reloc_library[1312]: 946 cannot locate '_ZNK7android6Parcel15setDataPositionEj'...
    CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE"

I have fastboot disabled and USB Debugging enabled. I've tried factory restoring, but its still the same error. Is there any solution?

What does your bootloader say? You do have custom recovery installed, I assume, since you were able to flash superuser. Are you sure Superuser flashed successfully? I would try reflashing it. Do you have the Superuser app in your App drawer?

NOTE: If it doesn't change (though I don't know why it wouldn't), go to Market (signing into Google will be required), and download "Root Checker". Open Root Checker, and you should be prompted to allow root access. If successful, type "su" at the adb prompt again, and you should have root.

    9) Download "flash_image.zip" & "mtd-eng.zip" from this post, and
extract the files contained in the zips. Put the flash_image and mtd-eng.img on the root of your sdcard. Then, input the following commands, as seen in the picture below:
    Code:
    cat /sdcard/flash_image > /data/flash_image [ENTER]
    chmod 755 /data/flash_image [ENTER]
    /data/flash_image misc /sdcard/mtd-eng.img [ENTER]

Just reopen the command prompt (step 6) and go back to the location of the adb and fastboot files. Then start with Step 7. You shouldn't be closing the command prompt until after the last command in step 9 is issued. Maybe I don't understand what you're asking?
