• HTC M7 To Launch In 2013 1st Quarter

Verizon users just recently got their hands on the HTC Droid DNA which has only been on the market for about two weeks and while some are still waiting for the international version of the Droid DNA, aka HTC DLX, HTC seems to be redirecting its focus into its next flagship device, the HTC M7. According to multiple sources, HTC is working hard in an effort to secure enough components to manufacture 4 to 5 million units of the HTC M7 in the 1st quarter of 2013.
Although we still don't really know the exact HTC M7 specifications, from what have been reported in more than a few sources we can gather that the HTC M7 will feature a 5-inch HD display, a uni-body aluminum shell, Qualcomm APQ8064 quad-core processor and a 13 megapixel camera.
It is fairly known that HTC has been slowly losing its place within the top Android devices in the market, but this new accelerated release of its new flagship device should help HTC regain some market share that was lost over the past year as its release date will be prior to the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S IV.

I for one would love to see HTC kick it up a notch with how they run their marketing and branding for its devices. Also, since we haven't seen any new HTC Android operated device coming over to Sprint, my bet is that the M7 will hit sprint users sometime by the end of 2013 1st Quarter if HTC will be able to supply.

According to this article they have plans to ramp up the marketing for their devices. I think a couple things will help them, speed up the process to get OS updates and make it easier to root them(I know that's a small percentage of the sales but still).

i know they switched things up... i just hope that they stand their ground with US carriers because so far they let any US carrier do what ever the f' they want to its devices which always leaves us waiting for the carrier to update our OS and not only HTC.
like i mentioned before... although we not Apple fans, there is something that other phone manufacturers can learn from.

I have to agree with you mik, it can suck sometimes to buy a phone and then a month or 2 later to be like wait.. I want that one.. Lol.

And to nicks comment I was just thinking this morning that htc needs to do some real advertising.

That phones sounds nice, even if I feel 5 inch phones are a little too big.
