I get FC's with the newer Telenav app's linked above. And with the older Sprint Navigator it asks me to register every time I open it :? Wondering if there is an apk floating around somewhere that came from an EVO 3D...

So far using the old 2.8 version, I have had no issues. It still does prompt me to update (as I mentioned in the download link), but doesn't affect usability.

I tested both the EVO and Shift applications of the newer version and didn't have any issues either.

Is there another version for the 3VO? I don't have one, I would suspect it's the same as the one currently on the EVO.

As far as resolving your issues ... you might try clearing cache and dalvik and then trying to reinstall apps. Do you have any security programs on your phone? Also, what process are you taking to install the APKs?

It's probably my ROM. The new version works fine when I'm running x99's rooted Gingerbread. I'm currently experimenting with MikShifted-G Executive 1.2. I appreciate you looking into this.

Did you try the Shift APK from the first link?

I got Telenav 6.2 to work :D I'm back on MikShifted-G Executive 1.2. Uninstalled the old Telenav then re-installed. Did the trick! Thanks for the help.

I think it's a matter of personal preference. I personally like Google Maps Navigation better but they each have their pros and cons.

Guess I'll be keeping Google Maps. Decided to go with the concensus simply because I rarely use it and I like to go along with the people who are more of a phone enthusiast than myself.
